Finding The Car Park

Bedord Lawn Car Park
This car park may be found on the sea front in Sidmouth.

Coming in to the town the easiest way to find it is, at the top of the high street at the mini roundabout just after the cinema turn right.

At the end of this road turn left (B3176), again at a mini roundabout, and the car park may be found at the end of the road just after the bus "Triangle" and before the T-Junction.

How much does it cost to park At Bedford Lawn Sidmouth?

Bedford Lawn Car Park Sidmouth 2023 prices
The charge is £2.20 for the first hour.

If staying up to 2 hours the charge is £4.20

Thereafter the charge is £1 per hour of your stay up to 5 hours.

See the image for longer stays.

The charge to park here is slightly lower than the East Devon Council Car Parks if staying up to 5 hours.

No fines issued, no cars clamped.

If you over stay you just pay for the extra time on exit at a slightly higher rate than your would have been charged had you paid the correct fee on entry.

So if you do not know how long you are planning to stay you could pay for a minimum period and just pay the balance on exit.

You must return your ticket to the gatekeeper on exit

(Charges shown were correct when checked on 26th July 2023)

This is not an official web site for the car park and prices and information should be regarded as a general guide only

Bedford Lawn Car Park long stay tickets

Bedford Lawn Car Park Ticket
24 hour permits are available from the gatekeeper and start at £14 for the first and second day and then the price per day gradually reduces where a 7 day ticket ends up at £80.

You will be give a ticket by the gate keeper on payment which you should show on entry and exit each time.

You do not have a guarateed parking space and if the car park is full may have to wait for somebody to leave before you can park. My understanding is that this is rare but if it happens you should not have to wait long...

These permits can only be used in this car park unlike the East Devon ones which can be used in several car parks in Sidmouth (and all over east Devon)

In both cases the walk if a little over five minutes.
