Finding The Car Park

Salcome Hill National Trust Car Park
Approaching Sidmouth from the east along the A3052 go past the Donkey Sanctuary and look out soon after it for a turning on the left signed to Salcombe Regis. Turn off the A3052 here.

Stay on this road for about two miles (you do not need to take the turn in to the village itself).

Look out for, on the right, the Norman Lockyer Observatory and the car park is soon after it on the left.

Coming out of Sidmouth and heading east, exit the town down the road opposite the cinema (Salcombe Road) and head towards Fortescue. Quite quickly you will come to a sharp left hand bend and soon after this there is a turning to the right up Salcombe Hill Road.

Turn here and pass up the hill through all the houses and the car park my be found on the right after about 500 yards.
